Free Pet Food Delivery in Select Areas of Portland

Mud Bay News |  June 4, 2020

(Updated July 13th to reflect expanded delivery in the Portland area.)

Now you can get pet food delivered to your door in select areas of the Portland, Oregon, metro area! Mud Bay has launched delivery from eight of our Portland-area stores for nearby neighborhoods (Stores include Tanasbourne Mud Bay in Hillsboro, Oregon; Timberland Mud Bay, Williams Mud Bay, Glisan Mud Bay, Hawthorne Mud Bay, and Grant Park Village Mud Bay in Portland, Oregon; Beaverton Town Square Mud Bay in Beaverton, Oregon, Lake Oswego Mud Bay in Lake Oswego, Oregon.)

Delivery is free with any $30 order, or we’ll deliver any size order for $5. Here’s how it works:

  1. Check to see if you’re in our delivery radius before you place an order.
  2. Look at our online catalog to find your favorite products.
  3. When ordering, select the Hawthorne, Tanasbourne, Beaverton Town Square, and Timberland store depending on your location. You can also use our online store chat to talk to a Muddy to get help placing and order for delivery or get product recommendations for your individual pet.
  4. Wait for your delivery to arrive! You should see your order the next business day, but we’ll be sure to email you when your delivery is ready to be delivered to your home. If you’ve ordered any frozen foods or treats, a Muddy will call first to schedule a convenient delivery time.
  5. Be on the lookout for your delivery waiting at your door! You’ll get an email confirming your delivery has arrived, and the opportunity to give us feedback about our delivery process.

We’ll be expanding our delivery area in the future, so if you’re not in our delivery area now, stay in touch with your local Mud Bay store for updates. And of course, you can also place your curbside pickup order online for your local store. While all our stores are open to customers, some people prefer our curbside pickup service for its speed and simplicity.

For those of you haven’t used our curbside pickup service yet, here’s a quick overview of the process:

  1. Visit our online catalog to find the products you want. Nearly 95 percent of all the products we sell and stock in our stores available on our online catalog.
  2. Add the items to your shopping cart and check out online. Or call your local store to start an order.
  3. Wait for an email–or call if you called one of our stores to place the order–to let you know that your order is ready. Most orders are ready in two hours. If you order after business hours or within an hour before closing, you can expect your order the next day we’re open.
  4. Drive to the store where you placed your order, and call the local store when you’re in our parking lot.
  5. We’ll come out to your vehicle and load your purchases, so you can be on your way.

Not sure what you regularly buy? A Muddy can look up your purchase history with your phone number if you’ve been logging your purchases with us. If you don’t currently track your purchases, we can still help you find the right food or product. Just email us at customercare@mudbay.com or try chatting with a Muddy at our online store.
