Volunteer Award of Excellence
Since 2015, Mud Bay’s Volunteer Award of Excellence has recognized animal welfare volunteers in the Pacific Northwest for their essential work on behalf of homeless pets. Each animal welfare organization is invited to nominate a single volunteer and then the public votes for the winners online.
Six volunteers—three in Washington and three in Oregon—receive the Volunteer Award of Excellence each year. Winners receive $1,000, and the nominating animal welfare organization also receives a $1,000 donation.
Watch our website or follow the Mud Bay Facebook page to learn when nominations and voting for the Volunteer Award of Excellence opens each year. Until then, the winners of last year’s Volunteer Award of Excellence are listed below.
