About FUTY Festival [foo-tee fes-tuh-vuh l]

FUTY (From Us To You) Festival

FUTY Festival is a free annual volunteer-appreciation party hosted by Mud Bay to celebrate and thank the animal welfare volunteers of the Pacific Northwest. The first FUTY Festival was held in Seattle in 2015, and now the FUTY festival is an annual event in both Seattle and Portland.

In addition to the celebration party, each animal welfare organization is invited to nominate a volunteer for the FUTY Festival Volunteer Awards of Excellence. Nominee profiles are posted here, and voting is online and open to the public. The three nominees with the most votes each receive a $1,000 cash prize, and their nominating shelter receives a $1,000 donation from Mud Bay.

Voting for the 2020 FUTY Festivals in Seattle and Portland will open in the summer of 2020. Follow the Mud Bay Facebook page to easily learn when voting for the FUTY Festival Volunteer Awards of Excellence opens. Until then, the winners for 2019 are posted below.
